DOW JONES INDEXES AND FEAS HAVE LAUNCHED NEW EURO-ASIAN REGIONAL INDEXES

Dow Jones Indexes and the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) launched three regional indexes during the last June, one composite index and two regional sub-indexes.

The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) is a non-profit international organization established in 1995 by 12 founding stock exchanges members. Nowadays, there are 32 members. FEAS target is to promote and support development of emerging member stock exchanges in the region of Euro-Asia encouraging market and trading relations between its member stock exchanges.

The Dow Jones FEAS Indexes are designed as base values to be consulted for creation of index-linked investment products like funds, futures, options and other structured products.
DOW JONES FEAS COMPOSITE INDEX includes component stocks of ten FEAS member stock exchanges. Currently included stock exchanges are: Abu Dhabi (UAE), Amman (Jordan), Bahrain (Kingdom of Bahrain), Belgrade (Serbia), Bulgaria (Bulgaria), Istanbul (Turkey), Karachi (Pakistan), Macedonia (Ex Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), Muscat (Oman), and Zagreb (Croatia).

DOW JONES FEAS SOUTH EAST EUROPE INDEX currently includes stocks from five FEAS member stock exchanges: Belgrade (Serbia), Bulgaria (Bulgaria), Istanbul (Turkey), Macedonia (Ex Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) and Zagreb (Croatia).

DOW JONES FEAS MIDDLE EAST/CAUCASUS INDEX currently includes stocks from four FEAS member stock exchanges: Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, and Muscat.

The Dow Jones FEAS Indexes are based on float-adjusted market capitalization, covering 95% of the free-float market capitalization of each country included in the respective index. The Dow Jones FEAS Indexes are computed and published in Euros (EUR) and US Dollars (USD) and they are going to be rebalanced quarterly permitting to others FEAS member stock exchanges to be incorporated.

The introduction of the Dow Jones FEAS Indexes will offer easy access to the FEAS member indexes and support the FEAS organization targets. They are going to be used as benchmarks and as basis of investment products focused on emerging markets of the Euro-Asian region, from Croatia to Mongolia. http://www.feas.org/MemberIndex.cfm?Top=Members
