The Brazilian subsidiary of the biggest Spanish bank SANTANDER will unify marks with the REAL BANK in the first quarter and it is expected to be operative with the name of SANTANDER in the middle of the next year. REAL BANK was acquired from the Dutch ABN by SANTANDER in October 2007, but, till now they are operating with their own and separated marks in Brazil counting with 9.5 million of clients and almost 4,000 offices.
