SPANISH REPSOL INTERESTED IN BRAZIL

Brazil continually calls attention of investors Worldwide. Employing free-market liberalism made it Latin America’s biggest and the most successful economy. The growth of its economy is the highest it has been in the last 30 years. The middle class is strongly growing while inflation rate is 4,5% and exports increase continuously. The recent discoveries of oil are very important for the country.

REPSOL, oil and gas company from Spain, has in account splendid perspectives of Brazilian economy and enormous natural resources so, the company is making efforts to explore oil and gas reserves. The company already perforates in the regions of Carioca, Guará and Iguazú. Recently, REPSOL has confirmed that it has started to perforate inside a new oil field in West Abaré. REPSOL and PETROBRAS, the biggest Latin America’s oil and gas company, are preparing plans of joint development of these Brazilian oil fields. They preview to obtain 20.000 barrels per day starting in 2010.
